My inspiration for wedding entertainment came over a dozen years ago, when I witnessed a wedding reception “tragedy” endured by a family friend. The “tragedy”? An unprofessional DJ didn’t realize the power he held in making this once-in-a-lifetime day free of regrets. Or perhaps he just didn’t care. I knew that, while I didn’t have wedding experience, I did care, and I knew that my efforts would have a great impact on how the couple looked back on their day. That experience is what prompted me to abandon a career in broadcasting and become a wedding DJ.
It didn’t take long for me to recognize that while the music was important, the role of wedding master-of-ceremonies was even more important. The MC was the person empowered to not only direct the flow of the reception, but to connect the guests with the reason they were there… the newly married couple. I also learned that I could pass my wedding experience on to my clients to make their weddings and receptions even better, so entertainment planning became a major focus.
My mission: to help make wedding celebrations as unique as the couples themselves and to make them fun and stress-free. That’s what “unforgettably fun” is all about.
When not entertaining at weddings, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 14 years, Kim, and my two kiddos, Suzanna and Mason.
